Yeah I love that picy of the Lavender Gang. They all look so cute :-D

I will have to post a picy of Lolly & Pickle now. They're full of pin feathers and look all gangly & awkward. :lol:

Ok, so here's some recent picys of Lolly & Pickle

The bottom photos are the most recent as I just took them on Thursday. They are both looking all funny at the moment with their pin feathers coming through, especially their pom poms which are just spikes with little tufts at the end of them :lol:

One big difference I started noticing around week 3 between Lolly & Pickle (apart from their size) is that Lolly has a more even beak with the top and bottom being quite close but Pickle has a larger top with more overhang/hook at the end.

I'm wondering if this could be a trait that you could use to tell the difference between a male and female? Hmmm conf665

, I'm thinking this might warrant more investigation.

Of course it would mean I would have to buy an incubator and then some eggs so I can hatch them all out and then watch them grow up, but hey if it's for research then it totally warrants it right

I wonder if hubby would agree with my logic

This is my little cousin and his first encounter with chooks. He had fun chasing them and they didn't seem to mind playing hide and seek!

Yes true PP :-D

Im having fun with my babies regardless of what they turnout to be. Hopefully I get one of each though as I might do some breeding from them, but I wouldn't be sad if they're both girls either. Not so much if they're both boys though.

I've put a post in one if the stickies about line breeding to get some clarification before I do, but no one has answered my question yet, so hopefully I will get an answer in the next few months.
