Perhaps using a lemon cuckoo bantam orpington may be the best way if they come in bantams?

I have them in bantam but not ready to release any yet as they need a tiny bit more tweeking before I am happy to supply to others - mainly the size :roll:

Yes right on the money I have seen a few in shows that are colour classed as lemon but not even close

I have been working on them for some time but still not happy with the colour and as you say to date we have no true lemon cuckoo pekins in australia they are all just buff and most not very good

It can be a hard task it took us many years to get the Mealy Gold Pekin to the point we were happy and let other then have it so keep at it its worth it in the end

Lemon Cuckoo regardless of breed is going to be very much looked forward to as the 'same old same old' colours keep appearing on the exhibition bench = we need to keep going forward with the development of the Lemon Cuckoo and other colours

any and all positive input to this thread is going to be appreciated

^ not in Pekin at this time
and as stated above - I am not prepared to release any Lemon Cuckoo Orps in bantam yet as they need more tweeking - I have released quite a few in the std size tho

and everyone = please remember THIS thread is abt Lemon Cuckoo not other colours
