Once you know which gene belongs in which category then the rest is not really that hard but the best part is you really don't need to know because you can ask here on the forum and get the answers instantly and from the good breeders

I have only just started out with a pair of blue peafowls for the last 3 years and so I don't know much and have come to learn about the breedings of the pieds and the other types.
I love this peafowl forum its awesome

Your on the right forum to learn all about Peafowl and with your interest in pieds there is 1000's of posts with the right info on breeding the pied and reverse pieds properly from the creator PA to heaps of breeders like myself and George [flockpheasants] that have many of both. All the good breeders are here and have freely shared their experience on pieds and the best way to breed them for years such as the reverse pieds so much so that the new micro sites are now repeating our words :lol:

If you have any questions just ask as you will get the best help and the truth here.

I just read that on the wall Colin, well at least they now know how to breed blue reverse pieds so thats good

I am glad they on that site are learning from you guys like me. I did read heaps of posts from you and other from 4-5 years ago on the forum about breeding reverse pied to reverse pied for best results, really good help.

We don’t give prolix answers to throw people off unlike some, we just give you the facts so you can breed peafowl properly and successfully and as Colin wrote the information on breeding reverse blue pieds properly has been on this forum for MANY YEARS and was even posted in this topic in july a few pages back by Colin, not last week like elseware after they learnt it from here :roll:

but your right Z at least they are finally learning about peafowl and now have a chance at breeding some one day.

Seem to me you guys there are happy to share what you know and that makes for more breeders that can achieve their goals so you all win. Many here in the states keep much to themselves which ain't much help at all
