Green peafowl breeding

Do the green peafowl breed the same as the blue peafowl

I.E
Do they breed at same time of the year?
Will they use a nest box to lay their eggs in?
Do the peahens sit well like the blue peahens?

Q1 Yes but can be a little later
Q2 Not likely they use a shallow hole in the ground usually near a tree or log ect.. but yours may, you never know, use some hay in the shelter to encourage them
Q3 Yes

I would recommend you use other fowl or an electric incubator to hatch the eggs as you will have more success long term as green peahens will incubate as blue peahens they can however be flighty when incubating so it can be a risk

bluepeafowl on the wall PA was saying about half and half [ first half incubator - last half bantam hen] with the greens is best do you do the same?
