Who's to say comments here are not from stakeholders jon? it may surprise you? Also this covers the second possible import so people are seeking more information and that you can appreciate is understandable. People are entitled to discuss, speculate, semis, hypothesize on the imports its a free country last I checked.

In the perfect world we would all fly over and select our own breeders but thats not feasible for 99% I also disagree that those arranging the eggs from breeders in the UK cannot select the best quality fowls they can and its possible some did?

So inform the forum as to why this was not the case this time. Or have you been presumptuous??????????? Either you know it or you dont. Again best quality is subjective and if we disahree on that as we surely seem to how can we agree on two birds right in front of us hmmmmmmm?????

Time will definitely tell. From Dr Spackmans team of mainly volunteers to acquiring the eggs of the source flock to them laying and producibg the guaranteed show quality stock from rhose eggs one would be aware of the potential for fowl to go slightly backwards within a tolerance becauze there is not a wide range of progeny to select from. However it tarnishes all the people who did their best before the fowl are even out to be so desparagingly speculative. I maintain it is impossible to know lest you`ve actually seen not heard. Anyway thats my opinion. I have all day to discuss it
