Another White Chick

Hello Everyone , :-) We Got our second white peachick yesterday , So we are very excited , The first white one is out in a pen with her three pied freinds and is growing well , This new one is our first white hatched naturally under a peahen (with no help from an anxious dad ) , I have taken her off mum and she is now in the brooder with the latest batch of pieds , I have been taking notes and out of the, incubator , "broody duck", hens, and peahens , so far the best hatches have been with the hens , one hen in particular an old brahma hen has given the best hatch , anyway ,I hope everone has a great christmas and stays safe and hope santa is kind to all of you , Thanks again for all of your help and advice , Ian

The new one is great , as is the second one , The first one is Marshalls her name is Diamond ,and the second is Ella's , of course she also wants to call hers Diamond ,which could be very confusing unless you are a kid,So if any one could help Ella name her it would be good she doesn't like any of the names I pick, We love them both ,(the peachicks that is ) . We also Have 8 pied , 3 from the first lot and 5 from the second lot , plus 1 split white , and still have 2 blue chicks left if anyone is interested , we sold a few as well as 2 split whites.I still have eggs set some are due to hatch soon , but we are so happy with what we have got and I have picked out my main male with the best fertility ,I will put with the best hens . We are very happy as you know how hard we searched for a female , and now we have bred our own(we hope) so in a few years we should have a good line of breeders we have bred ourselves .
