I'm not sure how far north Tavis goes, but I believe its a pretty good distance.

Dave Pretty well covers from Cairns to Gippsland and in between

Shame he doesn't have another brother that could do the WA run for him

I've heard quietly on the grapevine that someone is wanting to start a Vic-WA run early next year. I know it is well in discussion anyways. Would be great for me, am always being asked for Polish over on the west coast.

Would be good for me too as I want some painted quails from victoria, its a pain because all the good stuff is on the east coast.

are we talking driving? if we are = personally I would not use a company that drives birds or animals across to WA - the time involved and the heat at certain times of the year - - - -
I strictly use Jetpets for east to west and reverse = overnight service - I regularly use them and am on good terms with the staff also I have had no reason not to trust them and they are cost efficient
I have to wonder how much it would cost [and how long they would last] with a new carrier/transporter as there are a number already supplying the service
[no disrespect meant to those considering starting up a new service east to west and back]

How much do you think they would charge for peacocks from Queensland to victoria just a rough idea would be ok

Hi i brought some birds over here from N.S.W.
i only stoped for fuel & to walk dogs ect. will never do again too much on animals,went back by plane to get rest as its only 5 hour flight. if you decide to fly your peafowl make sure they arrive here between 6a.m. 4 p.m. mon. to fri as quanteen mob don't work week ends & will not work after 4or5 week days so if they get in late you can't pick them up untill next day or if they get in late fri.you don't get them till monday. if you use jetpet ect they sould know this.but if you know some one flying over this way they could bring them over as excess bagage with them but remeber the time they have to get here.day old chicks arrive just about every day mom 2 fri,as when we have had birds sent over they are usualy on same flight early morning

Thats by road , They do a northen trip twice a month , and a southern trip twice a month . We have never had any problems , and the peas always arrive safely and healthy . They have taken birds as far south as gippsland and as far north as cairns for us .
