best brand of pre mixed grains

What is the best brand of pre mixed grains to feed peafowl I seem to get 50% on the floor so must be using a mix they do not like what would you recommend to use

I feed my pheasants and peafowl porrot/wild bird mix from roberts or pet shops (they seem tolike the sun flower seeds the best) but mix it up with other things as recomended on the forum, greens, fresh peas fresh corn on the cobb but still have the same problem that they just dont like some of the grains so i collect them out of the feeder and give to the guinea fowl or chooks

Thanks Callum I have looked at the wild parrot mix as it look clean and not allot of fillers and the price is not much more than a pre mix poultry mix so I may give that a go. What grains do you find they leave behind? I find sorgum and wheat are not a big hit with them.

yeah pretty much the same, any seed that looks pale yellow colour(like wheat) their not to interested in, they seem to eat cracked corn rather than the whole grain, but they will eat some if they are hungry. I don't always take the remaining seed away but just top up with little of the preffered grains so they that they do eat some of the others i also transplant mature silver beet plants into their compound for them to pick at throw the odd fresh cobb of corn also pea vines as well as fresh shelled peas

Just buy the bags separately and mix it yourself that will save you money in the long run and give your birds more of what they want and none of what they don't

I was put onto Riverina whole grain in the yellow bag and much better than the old stuff I used years ago and the good part all the birds eat it
