Incubation Time For Pheasant Eggs

I've got to pick up some Pheasant eggs for incubation today. & I have a few questions
* I have 2 - 3 broody hens would these be the best way to incubate or us an incubator?
* How many days do they take to hatch ?
*Does the humidity in the 'bator need to be any higher than chook eggs as I will also be setting some chook eggs in the 'bator as well

I have a hen that has just gone broody which I will put the eggs under. While I have had a good hatch rate with the incubator these are not my eggs so I would like to achieve the best possible hatch as I can

Hi Jane, We use both at an equal ratio and find the bator very good for Chicken, Guineas, Pheasants, Quail, Indian Blue Peafowl ect..
The humidity need to be slightly higher but not critical, if you keep it around 86-88% should have no problems

Pheasant * 23-28 Inc Period (days) * 100 Temp(F.)¹ * 86-88 Humidity(F.)² * Do not turn after 21st day

Thanks for the info re 'bator Ican successfully hatch out chickens the incubator, however for some reason I can't hatch duck eggs so I was a little worried about the pheasant eggs. They have now been under a broody hen since the 12/12. I was lucky to have a hen go broody at the right time. As I mentioned before these are not my eggs but someone else's so I would like to get the best possible hatch rate that I can for them.

I don't think you can beat Mother nature Jane, special eggs I would trust under my number 1 boody girl :-D

I know that the saying can get old, but I do think that if most people are able to keep just 1 or 2 pairs of rare animals than we would not have a problem. I'm still trying to talk my father into letting me buy a Berkshire or Large black pig to help preserve either one of these breeds.
The eggs are under the hen, I'm keeping a very close eye on her as she is a leghorn & I've been told that this breed is not usually a broody breed, however saying that her sister has just brought out 13 frizzle x chicks & is carefully raising all of them free range. She is by far one of the most quietest hens that I've owned. I also have a Welsummer x leghorn hen that has again hatched out 8 ducklings - another reliable protective mother
So apart from 1 pheasant eggs falling out of the nest all 11 are going well & the days are being marked off on the calendar
